Hello, I am trying to add historical depreciation that started in 2018 and is spread over 5 years. I keep getting the message ‘financial year closed’ when I try to add it. What could be the reason for this?

Because your last depreciation will then be in 2022 (5 years later). And if you have only created 2023, then no year is affected.

That is why it will not work.

I have the same problem, but I can't find a solution anywhere.

I'm having the same problem. I've looked up everything in the learning center here, as well as in the community. I keep getting the error message that the 2023 financial year is closed... But I have only been with Dexter since 2024, and I bought my Macbook in 2023, and that's when the depreciation started... Please help!
