Costs without invoice

Why would you buy this without an invoice?
If you make purchases from a private person, you need a handwritten document with the names of the buyer and seller, a description of the equipment and the price, the date and both signatures.
This allows you to record it as an expense, but you cannot reclaim the vAT.
