Copyright as a sold product

Copyrights are a bit more special. In principle, you will have to immediately indicate on your sales invoice that it concerns copyrights, which is what a party such as Creative Shelter (as in your video) effectively does. You will then also need to create a separate tax form to transparently indicate to the tax authorities that part of the income falls under copyright, but fortunately Creative Shelter also takes care of this. They create the tax form behind the scenes.

We at Dexxter do not (yet) facilitate copyrights, but you can have the best of both worlds. For example, you can create your sales invoices within Creative Shelter, with the correct indication on your sales invoice and creating the tax form, and then enter your sales invoice in Dexxter. You can always enter your own invoice (from the past, but also a recent sales invoice) via income -> historical invoice.

Hello. I am experiencing a similar issue. I am an actor as a secondary occupation and will have several assignments this year where part of the remuneration is a "buy-out". In other words, the use of your images for a certain period of time. These are taxed less heavily, but in Dexxter I see that there is indeed no possibility to indicate this, which means that my summary of personal income tax within Dexter does not correspond with reality. The only thing I do now is create a separate line in my invoice with a clear mention of "rights".

Are there any plans within Dexter to provide this in the future?

We will definitely add the draft of copyright "sometime" in the future. This is not yet the case, but because we have noticed that our target group uses it regularly, we have added it to our to-do list.
