Question

How do you record a business gift, e.g. a gift to a very good customer? How do you record this? There is no separate purchase invoice for it. The gift is stated among other items you have ordered on one invoice.

Hi,

You can just use that invoice, but you only enter that one product. What I do in such cases is highlight it on the invoice so that it is clear and I can easily account for everything during an audit.
