Bookings training expenses with a subsidy via the SME portfolio

Vraag

I am following a training course that is recognised for the SME portfolio.

On their website, I can only find the information back on how to book this in double-entry bookkeeping with vAT and so on. https://www.vlaio.be/nl/subsidies-financiering/kmo-portefeuille/subsidies-aanvragen-en-received on

How do I book all this in simplified bookkeeping with vAT exemption?

Specific details:

Invoice amount for training: €2,662

vAT paid directly to the training institution: €462

Own contribution paid to the SME portfolio: €1,540

Supplement from SME portfolio subsidy: €660Do I only need to register the full invoice amount of €2,662 in my accounts? And what about the €660 subsidy from the SME Portfolio as income? Or does all this need to be registered in a different way?

Thank you in advance for your help!

In this case, I only registered the actual share (vAT + share paid to the SME portfolio) and in the remark noted that it was a payment with the intervention of the SME portfolio.

I'm not sure if this is the correct way to do it, so I'm waiting for an answer =)

Kind regards!

In principle, you should record this (compensation from VLAIO) as miscellaneous income. But you could also record it as follows (because miscellaneous income cannot be found directly in Dexxter) -> take some documents from the SME portfolio, email or whatever and use them to record a credit note.

You do not include this in the vAT declaration, as it has nothing to do with vAT. Then you select the same cost category as the one for which you entered the initial invoice (which will be training).

So first enter the training in full, with all the details, and then enter the compensation as described above.
