Question

Dear Sir/Madam,

In the previous year, I had a new roof installed and my second floor completely renovated (plasterboard, flooring, paint, etc.). I use half of this floor as an office for my self-employed secondary occupation. Can I claim these costs as business expenses? Will this have a negative impact if I want to sell my house in the future?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Hey, have you got an answer to here yet? I've just had my roof renovated too...

Regards,

Tim

Hi Tim, I consulted an accountant and he advised me not to claim these costs. Regards

Ok, thanks for the info!
