Which VAT number do you use for this? The invoice number (IE513174, company inside the EU) gives an error message.

That just seems to be an incorrect vAT number to me. IE513174 seems very short for a vAT number :)

Company number: IE3206488LH
You really should try it out for yourself. Even if you don’t have a company number yet, you can already go ahead.
