Question

After the final settlement, I will receive a refund for the amount I overpaid in social security contributions. How do I record this?
I found someone in the community who answered that there was a video about this in the learning centre, but I cannot find it. The question was also asked from several years ago.

Thank you for your help.

You will need to record this as social security contributions - final statement or adjustment. If it is an amount that you are getting back, you indicate that it is a credit note. That way, it will be recorded correctly in your accounts. :-)
