shortening depreciation

Question

I would like to ‘shorten’ a few depreciations, so that the remaining amount is entered in full into my accounts this year. Can I adjust them? Also: I was exempted from VAT until the start of this year. Can I transfer the purchases I made last year to this year in order to reclaim the VAT?
