Question

I would like to purchase chairs for my table in my living room. However, these chairs will also be used to receive my customers for discussions about creating their website, what they want and what I expect from them. Can I include these chairs and would that be 50% or better 35%? Has anyone ever done this before?

Expenses that you create privately but that also relate to your business can be included in your accounts. The percentage depends on how much time you use those chairs for your business. The tax authorities will generally accept 20 to 30%. It is up to you to be able to substantiate that percentage if there is an audit.

Ok, great, I thought so, but I wasn't sure
