Costs for 2023 in the 2024 financial year

Question

I only started my secondary occupation in 2024 and therefore also with Dexter. I diligently entered a amount of expenses from December 2023 in the 2024 financial year. These included car insurance, but apparently that is not allowed. Is this correct? Can I cancel this cost item in Dexter?

In the run-up to starting your business, you are indeed allowed to include investments from the previous year.https://dexxter.be/kan-ik-purchases-inbrengen-from-voor-de-opstart-als-zelfstandige/ If you want to delete Expense, you can simply delete it in Dexxter by clicking on the three dots under 'Actions'.

Thank you for your answer and the tip. It is clear that I can include investments, but I am not entirely sure about car insurance for 1 year. I only noticed the delete option later, as my screen was too small and I did not see the three dots :-).
