Question

Under which category do you place purchases that you need to provide your services? I am a nail stylist myself and wonder where I should book my nail polish, files, etc., because I do not sell these, but use them during a treatment.

Thanks in advance.

If the materials are part of the sale, they should be listed under trade goods. Think of raw materials or ingredients. I think your nail polish falls into a grey area here, so it's not really trade goods, but it's not not trade goods either. I would just list it under small materials.
