Can I pass on expenses to the customer? Licences for WordPress themes and plug-ins?

Question

Hey everyone

As a web designer, I have purchased several lifetime licences for a large amount of users.
I have now entered these as expenses. Can I pass these on to the customer?

In other words:
There is a plug-in that cost me 600 euros for 1000 licences/websites.
I have charged this cost as expenses in Dexxter.
Can I charge the customer 125 euros for this, for example?

Kind regards,

Joris

It seems perfectly normal to me that you pass on your costs to the customer. And how much profit you make on this is up to you... and the customer. After all, they have to agree to this surcharge. You don't have to explicitly include this on an invoice to the customer: you can simply offset it in what you charge for your services.
