Provincial tax

Question

This week, I received a bill for 101 euros in the post for the provincial tax of the province of Antwerp for the 2021 financial year. Do I just have to pay it, or is there a student exemption or something similar? 🙂

Unfortunately, there is no exemption for provincial tax. No matter how small the amount of square metres your self-employed activity occupies, some provinces always charge a minimum rate, including the province of Antwerp.

Can this tax be entered as an expense in the accounts or not?

Yes, it can! Be sure to enter it in the accounts.

How can I record this provincial tax for my secondary occupation?
