Work in immovable state

Question

I did some work on immovable property for a customer. His company (ordinary vAT-registered) is also located at this address. But the work was for his private use. Should the vAT be reversed here or not?

If I have understood it to be good, it is the use that counts. So if you have worked on a piece that is actually used by his company, vAT can be charged to the co-contractor.

If you have worked on a private piece, then it is not possible.

Thank you very much for your answer.
