Special vAT declaration

Question

Good day,

I received an invoice from a German company without VAT. I subsequently received a credit note for this invoice, also without VAT. (zero transaction) Do I also need to include this in the special vAT declaration?

I subsequently received an invoice with VAT.

Kind regards

Pat

No, I don't think so. You won't have to pay vAT as they cancel each other out.

The purpose of such a special vAT declaration is to ensure that people who still have to pay vAT do so. And that is not the case here because of the credit note.

I am quite convinced that it is not necessary in such a case :)
