Are terms and Conditions required?

Question

Hey,

I shortened the terms and Conditions on the sales invoices from the template because all that information (payment reminders, compensation, etc.) seemed unnecessary for the customers I invoice. Now I saw an email from Dexxter saying that the terms and Conditions need to be updated to be complete, so does that mean that all those terms and Conditions regarding compensation are required on every invoice?

And can I find the full terms and conditions somewhere so that I can put them back in my template, because now I only have my shortened version and I can’t go back to the Dexxter template.

The email from Dexxter also stated a link with more information: https://dexxter.be/nieuwe-spelregels-voor-terms-and-Conditions/

The bottom line is that it is not required to have or apply them, but I think it is a good idea because it allows you to protect yourself legally. You don't have to take legal action for every little thing, but at the very least it might do potential fraudsters two things: it might do them think twice. Best wishes, Sarah
