Selling abroad

Question

How should you declare income earned in Germany, for example? If you participate in a food truck festival in Germany, do you charge German vAT and to whom do you pay that vAT, the Belgian government or the German government? You are selling to a private person within the EU. Or can you just do the same as you do when selling in Belgium?

If you specify that your customer is within the EU, your invoice is automatically written to comply with the reverse-charge rule. That means no VAT is written. I hope Dexxter handles this accordingly, but you need to report this somehow in the quarterly vAT report. Your German customer also needs to file this separately. I also have customers in Germany, and I write my invoices like this.
