Retroactive corrections made

Question

Hi, I have retroactively made some corrections to already closed quarters in terms of expenses: change in the percentage of everything related to the car (from 100% to 70%), added a few missing items. Only after implementing these changes did I acknowledge from the learning center that this must be done by adjusting the fiscal date. I did not do that. And i don’t know which additional overdue costs I entered. I would like to pay the correct vAT. How can I rectify this? Thank you in advance for your advice. Kind regards, Roosje

Dear Roosje,

If you have made adjustments to your quarters, you will need to submit a new vAT declaration for all of these quarters. Otherwise, your returns will no longer be correct and you will encounter issues with the tax authorities. Best regards and good luck from Gitta :-)

How do I make it okay? My apparently not-so-logical brain assumed that if I open the quarters back, make the necessary updates, and close the quarters again, this would be picked up in the next quarterly return. So I misjudged the situation :-)
