International train journey – cost / vAT declaration

Question

In October, I took an international train journey to visit a customer. I would like to enter this train ticket as an expense, but i don’t know what exactly to enter as the expense. On a domestic ticket, it is simply the price of the ticket and you cannot reclaim vAT, but this international ticket states the next:

Price and reservation details

Total train tickets € 184.70

< Or do I have to enter it twice? Once as €184.70 as cost not included in the vAT declaration and once as €45.85 in the vAT declaration?

It seems to me that you simply paid €2.75 in vAT. And in Dexxter, you only need to enter your total amount including and excluding vAT. So just the price including €184.70, price excluding (184.70 - 2.75 =) €181.95?

If you enter it twice, it may also end up in your expenses twice, which is obviously not what you want.

If you are unsure, I would question the support team. And send them the invoice. I think they will be able to give you the best advice.
