Question

As a self-employed person in secondary occupation who is not subject to VAT, do you also have to draw up a customer list?

Hey,

In some cases, yes. See below:

I am exempted from VAT: do I still have to submit a customer list?

Yes, but not always!

Even if you are exempted from VAT, you may still be required to submit a customer list.

Is your customer list empty? Then you don't have anything to do. You don't need to submit anything via Intervat.

Do you have at least one customer on your customer list? Then you do need to submit a customer list.

This is a common misunderstanding, but if there is at least one customer on your customer list, then as a VAT-exempted entrepreneur you do need to submit a customer list.
