This privacy statement governs the processing of your personal data when you use our website www.dexxter.be, our Dexxter app and the services we offer. This processing is carried out by Let’s App BV as the data controller, which determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data, with its registered office at 2800 Mechelen, Stationsstraat 55, and registered under CBE number 0752.709.706.

We firmly believe that protecting the privacy of our customers and visitors is of paramount importance. We therefore make every effort to ensure this data protection and to act in full compliance with data protection legislation whenever we process personal data. The term “data protection legislation” refers to: i) the General Data Protection Regulation (better known as the “GDPR”), ii) other European regulations containing provisions relating to data protection and privacy, iii) as well as the applicable national data protection and privacy legislation in the Member States.

When processing personal data, Let’s App will adhere to the fundamental principles governing the processing of personal data. Personal data will always be processed lawfully, fairly and transparently for specific purposes. We will take the necessary steps to ensure that we never request more personal data than is necessary and that we do not retain this personal data for longer than is necessary. Finally, Let’s App will take the technical and organisational measures necessary to ensure appropriate security so that personal data is protected against, amongst other things, unauthorised or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage.

Let’s App reserves the right to amend this privacy statement if necessary. We therefore ask you to read this privacy statement regularly to keep abreast of any such amendments. Let’s App is developing an app that enables customers to manage their own accounts as self-employed people working on a part-time basis.

In accordance with current regulations, we define personal data as any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (“the data subject”); a natural person is considered to be identifiable if they can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.

We define the processing of personal data as any operation or set of operations which is performed on personal data or on sets of personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction of data.

The data is processed on the following legal grounds:

  • Your consent, in relation to your visit to our website. This consent is freely given and may be withdrawn at any time.
  • A contractual relationship is established as soon as you purchase and/or use our services or products.

We collect personal data for the purpose of using the website and providing certain services. In addition, our web server automatically recognises your IP address every time you visit our website.

This personal data enables us to respond to your enquiry, to continuously improve the website and the services/products offered to you, and to tailor them to your needs. In this regard, we reserve the right to use your information for market research and satisfaction surveys or for the development of services/products, potentially by engaging subcontractors.

Thanks to this information, we can also send you marketing information about new services and products, promotions, special offers, etc.

Let’s App can access, store, transmit, update and amend personal data.

3.3.1 Requests for information

The personal data we collect is used to provide appropriate and accurate answers to your questions.

This information will be stored in our customer database so that we can provide you with an even better service in the future.

In order to process your requests for information properly, we will retain your personal data for this purpose for as long as you remain a customer of ours. If you are not a customer of Let’s App, we will delete this data once your enquiry has been answered or in order to stay in touch with you (for example, if you have expressed an interest in one of our products).

3.3.2 To stay in touch with you

We believe it is important to maintain a good relationship and open communication with all our customers. We will therefore contact you to keep you informed of relevant offers and promotions, as well as innovations and new products that you may find of interest.

Let’s App will rely on its legitimate interest for the processing of personal data in connection with this activity. If you receive this communication from us, you may indicate at any time that you no longer wish to receive it.

3.3.3 Invoicing and administration

Let’s App collects billing and administrative data in order to fulfil its administrative obligations, such as invoicing the customer for services provided or maintaining our legally required accounts.

3.4 How long will your personal data be processed and stored?

The data will be processed for the duration of the agreement, extended by three months, unless Let’s App is legally required to retain the data for a longer period.

3.5 Do we share your personal data with third parties?

Let’s App will refrain from disclosing or passing on your personal data, except in the following cases:

  • When working with processors who assist us with services such as hosting, email campaigns, surveys and marketing initiatives. They process your personal data solely in accordance with our written instructions and under an agreed data processing agreement.
  • If required by law.

Let’s App will take the necessary steps to process your personal data within the European Economic Area wherever possible. If personal data is nevertheless transferred to countries or organisations outside the EEA, appropriate safeguards will always be put in place.

3.6 What rights do you have as a data subject?

Let’s App will inform you without delay, and in any event within one month of receiving your request, of the action taken in response to your request.

3.6.3 Right to restriction of processing

You may request that processing be restricted if, for example, the accuracy of the personal data is disputed.
