Question

I accidentally received an incorrect social security contribution invoice, which I paid. However, I realised too late that this was a mistake.
According to Acerta, the refund can only be made within two years.
Do I still have to enter this invoice as an expense?

Hi, yes, you can still submit that expense, because you paid it. You can include social security contributions in your expenses from as soon as you have paid them.

If you then receive a refund for social security contributions paid back within two years, you must enter them as a credit note :)
