I forgot to keep a receipt from previous year. Can I buy it good from myself now?

In the previous year, I forgot to claim my travel expenses. Would it be a solution to buy it back from myself this year? After all, I’m going to be working as a tour guide this year.

If you are still self-employed this year, you can simply enter it as an expense for this year.
