I bake biscuits as a secondary occupation. Do I have to include the bags I put the biscuits in with my closing inventory for the financial year? These are not charged for or sold separately, but the customer does receive them… The same applies to the (logo) stickers that go on the bags… Are these trade goods, or advertising/marketing, small expenses of various kinds, etc.?

Indeed, packaging materials also belong in your inventory.
You really should try it out for yourself. Even if you don’t have a company number yet, you can already go ahead.
