Refund without invoice/credit note

Then you can either delete the initial daily receipt and re-enter it without the part you paid back.

Or simply add a credit note, but purely for yourself. Normally, you do indeed need an invoice, but that is not the case here. Just add a credit note purely for yourself, to do the accounts balance again.
