I have a vAT amount of + €700 spread over several quarters that I am entitled to reclaim. But I can’t find anywhere how to do this. When I follow the normal steps for submitting my quarterly return, I never get the chance to fill in an amount anywhere.

Hey! Still no answer... Dexxter should suggest this if the amount to be reclaimed is high enough during the return, but I never received a notification about this.
According to the little information available online, you have to indicate this during the vAT declaration. Only i don't know where...Hello

Dexxter does not take previous quarters into account when proposing a VAT refund; we set the limit at 400 euros in a single quarter. But you can always go to MyMinfin and check your current account there. If your total credit balance exceeds 400 euros, you can also request a refund. You can do this by clicking on 'Reload in screens' below while loading the XML file. This will fill in the XML file in the return, but you can still edit the data. In the second step, you can tick the box at the bottom next to 'Request for refund'. If you then go through all the steps without changing anything else, you submit your vAT declaration and question a refund.
Refunds are therefore always requested at the same time as submitting a quarterly return. The government has now decided to change this. You can still apply this to your April return, but from then on they will be working with a commission account. They have not yet announced how this will work in practice, but it would give you the option of claiming back throughout the year. As soon as we have more information about this, we will share it in an article.
You really should try it out for yourself. Even if you don’t have a company number yet, you can already go ahead.
