Hello,
I have just filled in my first income & expenses via Dexxter. Do I need to do anything else to be okay for my social security contributions? Do I need to send anything to the social security office?

Hello,
You don't need to submit anything else, just pay good attention for events on the Dexxter timeline. A customer list, personal income tax, and so on.You do not need to submit anything special to your social insurance fund after starting your sole proprietor. However, you can always have the amounts on which your social security contributions are calculated adjusted via your social secretariat. Suppose your social security contributions are currently calculated on a profit of 1,650 euros for 2022 (just an example), which amounts to approximately 85 euros in social security contributions quarterly. Now you realise that you are actually going to make a lot more profit in 2022, or you have already made that estimate. In that case, you could report a higher net taxable income to your social insurance fund. In short, this basically means reporting a higher estimate of your profit in 2022 to your social insurance fund. They will then immediately increase your social security contributions quarterly. What if you don't do that? Don't worry, that's fine too. When you file your personal income tax return (which will also show your profits from your self-employed activity), a copy will be sent to your social insurance fund. This is done automatic, you don't have to do anything. On that basis, the social insurance fund can still claim the additional social security contributions to be paid per invoice.
You really should try it out for yourself. Even if you don’t have a company number yet, you can already go ahead.
