making purchases for small materials

Question

I recently started working as a carpenter as a secondary occupation.

Now I was wondering how best to enter small materials such as silicone, screws, glue, etc. because I can always make purchases with my vAT number, but they will not always be listed exactly on the sales invoices.

Does this fall under stock that you have to keep track of yearly, or how does DIY work?

Kind regards

In principle, these are indeed trade goods. You purchase them to use them in your sales process, and they also leave your company.

So you can record them under trade goods.

In terms of inventory: in principle, yes. At the end of the year (31/12), you must then count the inventory and enter that value in Dexxter.

But be pragmatic! A few screws and a tube of silicone are probably so small in value that it is not worth recording them as inventory at the end of the year. It is more about the larger materials.
