How can I still report negative amounts for daily receipts? We distribute lottery products and sometimes end up with a negative balance on certain days (more payouts than sales).
That's just not possible. I've already raised this issue with the people at Dexxter themselves.
I now realise that I can delete the lottery turnover (using the correct cash register system) from my daily receipts, as I only received it and then deduct it (minus my commission) from my account.
But that brings me to my next question: every Saturday, I fill in the commissions in the daily receipts as "weekly lottery commission" with 0% vAT. However, it now appears that we also receive a tax form from the National Lottery.
In that case, should we not mention any commissions in our daily receipts?
You really should try it out for yourself. Even if you don’t have a company number yet, you can already go ahead.
