I have found an invoice from the previous financial year, December 2023. Can I still enter it this year? How? Can I just reopen my 2023 financial year? Or is there a way to enter this invoice in 2024? I already tried to do this by changing the fiscal date, but since it concerns a other financial year, the system refuses to accept it. Just reopen the financial year and enter it (search for "financial year" in the learning centre). That's how it works.
You can simply enter these in 2024. Set the fiscal date to this quarter and year. That should work.
I would advise against reopening the financial year, but if you do, be sure to print your journal first so that you know what you have edited afterwards.
