Flat-rate professional expenses for self-employed persons in secondary occupation

Question

I would like to enter the flat-rate amount. How do I do that in Dexxter?

You may think that collecting all your receipts and invoices is a lot of administrative hassle that takes up your precious free time. And that’s why the flat-rate deduction for your professional expenses seems like the best choice anyway. As with salaried employees, this lump sum corresponds to 30% of your profit (excluding social security contributions and the purchase of goods), with a maximum of 5,520 euros (2023).

This does not happen automatically in Dexxter.

You can do this via reports > start income statement > simply make a separate entry for those fixed professional expenses (you will probably need to create a category called "fixed professional expenses" first).Or you could create a Word file in which you type in what you have done, the amount of profit, the amount of fixed costs, etc. Convert this into a pDF and then simply enter it as if it were expenses. Do not include it in your vAT declaration, by the way ;) If you are subject to VAT.
