Enter residence costs for 2 secondary occupations

Question

Hello, my wife and I have both started in a secondary occupation. We have an office with two workstations in our home. Assuming that this space amounts to 10% of the home, can we both claim 10% or do we have to divide this by two? Or can we both claim 10% and pretend that only one person works in the office and the other in an other room?

There is also a leak in the roof from the room where we work. Can the repair costs be contributed 100% because this is only in the office area, or can this also be only 10%?

If you use one room with two people, you will have to divide this by two. If the second person uses a room other than this, you can enter both rooms. If you can demonstrate that the damage from the roof only affects your professional space, this invoice can be claimed in full as a professional expense. However, you will need to write this off over 10 years because it is a building. Please also bear in mind that if you stop your secondary occupation earlier, you will need to recalculate this. You can find an explanation about this on the internet.
