Dear Sir/Madam, I would like to know whether the costs of the driving school can also be entered. I want to obtain my licence for work purposes.

Hello,
You can always try, but I think it is unlikely that an inspector will agree with you here if there is an audit. The tax authorities consider a driving licence to be personal and not professional in nature.Isn't it bizarre that all those car expenses, which are much higher, can be claimed? I am already 40 and am taking driving lessons for my job...
Hi MS,
I acknowledge that this may not feel like it to you at the moment, but JB is indeed right here.
Acquiring a general skill such as a Category B driving licence is considered by the legislator to be a personal expense. In the case of a Category C driving licence (to drive a lorry), for example, the situation is other. You can compare it to different types of education. If I want to obtain my General Secondary Education diploma, this is a very general investment of a personal nature. However, if I follow a specific course that is in line with my self-employed activity, such as a baker who wants to learn new pastry techniques, this is a professional expense.
The actual costs you incur later with your car and which are (partly) professional in nature can indeed be (partly) included in your accounts.
Kind regards,

Thank you, sorry :/
You really should try it out for yourself. Even if you don’t have a company number yet, you can already go ahead.
