Daily income – what is the difference between ‘nothing sold’ and ‘store closed’?

Question

I work as a self-employed psychologist in secondary occupation on Wednesdays. What should I fill in under daily income on all days when I am not working (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun)? Thank you in advance!

For all days when you do not work (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday), fill in 'Store closed' in your daily receipts. You must fill in something in your daily receipts every day, even if there is no income. Because your practice is closed on those days, use the option 'Store closed'. It may feel a bit strange to talk about a 'store', but that is the term used by the tax authorities :)

Tip: You can also fill in this in bulk via the web version by going to Income > Daily receipts and clicking on "Bulk fill in" in the top right-hand corner. You can then mark all days as "store closed" at the same time.Only on Wednesdays do you fill in your actual turnover or "nothing sold" if you had no patients that day.
