Question

I sell bouquets in my pick-your-own garden. I only allow people to pay electronically. Once the money is in my account, I record it as daily receipts on the day it arrives in my account. So not on the day of sale. Is that allowed?

Yes, if you always stick to that system, I think it's fine. As long as you don't start switching between the day from sale and the day from payment.

But there's hardly any difference, is there? It's just a matter of one day or so?

I suspect it would also be easier on the day of payment :-)

I am 100% certain that you have to register on the day of the sale.
