Dear Sir/Madam,
My motorbike has been written off since the previous year. Now I was wondering if I can offer it for rental to the business? What do I need to do to arrange this in Dexxter okay?
Ps: The costs/insurance and fuel are still entered according to the professional percentage, even though it has been written off.

If you use Dexxter, I assume you are a sole proprietor, i.e. a natural person and not a legal entity. As a sole proprietor, your personal and professional assets are not separated as they are in a limited company. If your motorbike has been written off, you cannot rent it to yourself to incur costs. However, you can choose to sell it and buy a new one, so you can start writing it off again and claim costs.
That is correct. You and your sole proprietor, that is one and the same person. You would therefore be renting to yourself, which is obviously not allowed. In a company, this would be allowed because there are two "persons" involved: yourself and the company.
But you can still claim the costs, of course! As you mention: insurance, fuel... All of that can still be included in the accounts, even if it has been depreciated.
You really should try it out for yourself. Even if you don’t have a company number yet, you can already go ahead.
