Question

The invoice for the repair of my iMac amounts to 697 euros. I get a notification with the question whether this can be an investment? Or does this only apply to the actual purchase?

Well, it could also count as maintenance and upgrades... But if nothing new has been created, I don't think it counts as an investment.

For example, a car -> car maintenance -> 4 new tyres -> that's something new, so I think that could possibly be an investment.

But in your case, it's purely a repair, if I understand it as good? Then I wouldn't classify it as a category of investment, but simply as maintenance.
