Are you a local trader or do you sell a lot to private individuals? Then Dexxter is the best solution. Dexxter offers digital daily receipts for Belgium (Accountable does not). 

If you do choose Accountable, you will need to purchase a second software package just for daily receipts.

Price is often a decisive factor when choosing an accounting app. Below is an overview of the prices excluding VAT. Both packages offer a discount on an annual subscription versus a monthly subscription. Accountable lists two prices because you can choose between different packages.

Dexxter offers a transparant price with fixed annual costs and free access for accountants, ideal for self-employed people. Accountable offers flexible bundles, but at a higher cost for intensive use.

Dexxter does not have a free version, but it does offer a 30-day free trial. Accountable does have a free version, but it is very limited. Important modules for doing your own accounting are missing, and there is a maximum number of invoices you can process. In addition, no desktop application is included in the free version.

In general, it is tempting to choose an accounting platform with a free version, but keep in mind that you will quickly have to upgrade to the paid plan.
