vAT declaration

Just close quarter 1 & 2, don't submit, just close. Because you won't have to submit anything, you have not started as a self-employed person yet (I'm assuming). Then you can close quarter 3 and submit it. Although that won't be possible yet, as it has to be 01/10 first, only then can you actually submit quarter 3.

Then just follow the steps from Dexxter: first close, then 'start your vAT return' and then just follow the steps to submit.
