How can I enter start-up costs for self-employed secondary occupation in the accounts if the due date is in the past before the vAT number was valid?
Dear Sir/Madam, due date in the past,<...... How far in advance? Months, a year?
28/02 are the start-up costs for your self-employed secondary occupation.
Dear Sir/Madam, I would enter that quickly – to be on the safe side!
NB – I have been self-employed for 40 years, so I know what I am talking about.
Regards,
Patrick
I believe it, BUT I GET AN ERROR MESSAGE BECAUSE THE EXPIRY DATE HAS PASSED
Because the invoice date is in the past, I can't enter it because it gives an error
Enter it on today's date!
The programme has that option.
You really should try it out for yourself. Even if you don’t have a company number yet, you can already go ahead.
