Purchases of light goods vehicle

Question

Hello everyone,

Do you have to take the entire package into account when calculating the deduction percentage?

By that I mean, if I deduct 90% for light goods, do I have to apply the same percentages to the insurance and all the associated costs?

Or can I take the light goods vehicle as a 100% investment and the rest at, say, 90% because I would also use it privately from time to time?

Thanks in advance.

The FPS website states: The next benefits apply to light goods vehicles: More information about the limitation of the deduction percentage for passenger cars)
  • right to investment deduction (for a sole proprietor)</

The technical characteristics specific to the tax definition will be monitored by the vehicle inspection authority.

I would contribute 100% of the investment. However, I have stated 85% of the usage (all expenses, taxes, insurance, inspections, etc.) in the cost category 'General expenses and maintenance of light goods vehicles'. I did this in consultation with my accountant.

  • Okay, then I know what to do. Thank you for the clear information.
