If you go to expenses and enter an invoice there (via the expenses submenu), you can go through the "flow" step by step. </
In step 4) cost categories, you can choose a specific category. Let's take "mobile phone & internet costs" as an example. This is already limited to 20% for professional use standard. But when you are selecting a cost category, you can immediately change the professional use limit (see the pencil icon on the far right).
This allows you to adjust the entire cost category, which is useful if you always want to use that percentage in the future. However, you can also adjust the percentage individually in step 4) cost categories.
Could it be that this is not (yet) possible with depreciation?
I have included my plug-in hybrid over the term of the loan (7 years). I want to include this for a certain percentage (e.g. 25%) for my secondary occupation.
Yes, you can also select 'investment' in the cost categories. You can then either adjust the 'investment' cost category as a whole using the pencil icon on the far right when you select a cost category.
Or you can first select a cost category (in this case, investments) and once you have selected the cost category and are back in the 'flow' of booking, simply adjust the professional use for that document.
I wanted to add a screenshot to show that I don't have a pencil icon (for depreciations).

Feel free to send us an email with the screenshot to [email protected] and we'll view it.But I've already viewed and it seems to me that the pencil icon is there. When you are selecting a cost category (step 4 in expenses), there is a pencil icon in the cost category selection menu (on the far right). Of course, you can also always adjust it manually. In step 4 of the expenses, you can also manually adjust the professional percentage just below the cost category selection.

Can I still adjust a depreciation/investment? For example, if the proportion of professional use has decreased in the meantime. I am thinking of my vehicle. It was initially set at 20% professional use %. That now seems a bit high.

You really should try it out for yourself. Even if you don’t have a company number yet, you can already go ahead.
