Partial professional use of personal or business account

Question

Dear Sir/Madam, If the professional use of an expense is not 100%, should this amount be debited from my personal or business account? For example, my mobile phone subscription consists of 50% private and 50% business costs, but this is debited from my private account. Is this a problem?

Thanks in advance

I used to do my accounting through an accountant and at that time it was no problem at all to simply run everything through my business account, without having to compensate afterwards (-> by which I mean transferring your 50% private portion from your private account).Always try to pay from your business account. If you ever have a tax audit (which seems unlikely, but you never know), you can simply show your business account.

In a sole proprietor, it is purely your purchases and sales that count for the figures. What you do in your bank account does not have any role, so I think it's a bit silly to start transferring money just for fun to compensate for the private portion of some purchases :)
