Your missing costs are actually a reminder for recurring costs. For example, when creating a cost category for internet, you can specify the frequency as 'monthly'. This is completely optional and not a required field. If you only have 3 internet invoices from your internet in your accounts so far, you will see that your missing costs for this category are 3/12 stated. This tells you that you still need to enter 9 internet invoices. It's a handy reminder to check how many internet invoices you still need to enter.
