I work as a physiotherapist and would like to keep track of my income via Dexxter.
I work in a group practice and my colleagues can simply submit their account statements to their accountant. So we don’t issue any invoices.
How can I declare my income in Dexxter?
V-You can enter your income every day under the heading 'income' in 'daily receipts'.
What if patients pay into the practice's general account number and the practice owner transfers my share to me monthly? Can I still use daily receipts, given that this involves a large amount once a month and all other days are €0?
I think this is certainly possible, but the tax authorities require you to specify everything if the amount exceeds €250 per day and comes from one "customer".
So I would keep neat records to show that the 'large amount' does not come from one customer.
Thank you for your answer! Via our software programme I can create 'accounting reports'; these are Excel files with a complete summary of my income. I can always submit these to clarify the amounts. In that case, the daily receipts (+ accounting reports for clarification) seem to be the best and easiest way to enter my income.
You really should try it out for yourself. Even if you don’t have a company number yet, you can already go ahead.
