Expenses/depreciation? And how?

SC

Question

I work as a sign language interpreter – NL. For this job, I work from home on the one hand and on the road on the other.
I calculate expenses for electricity and internet/mobile phone? Is that correct? (Connecting my laptop, being at home = lighting, heating, mobile phone subscription with extra 4G to video call my deaf customers, internet from home for online assignments, etc.)

What about the car? How should I enter those costs?

You put 'depreciation' in the title, but what exactly do you mean by that? If you're wondering what depreciation is, be sure to check the learning center. It states some useful information about depreciation and investing ;)

Otherwise, it seems to me that you are good in the eyes of the system for electricity, internet & mobile phone. So be sure to include them! Car too, but you have to be able to prove that you use that car for work from time to time. That's easy to do, you just have to travel for work every now and then, to a customer for example. Insurance, fuel, maintenance, road tax, a car in Belgium costs money...

How you enter that, via invoices, receipts, etc. There's also a video about it in the learning center, 'entering expenses' or something like that, I think. Check it out via that icon at the top right.

Good luck!
