Consumables versus tools/working materials

Question

Hello,

I have only just started, so everything is still a bit of a search. I have started as a manufacturer of imitation jewellery, from resin, among other materials.

I assume that goods such as resin, dyes, glitter, screws, etc. fall under ‘Trade Goods’. But what category do materials and tools that you reuse, such as silicone moulds, pliers, lamps, etc., fall under? These are small costs, so no investments for the time being.

Thanks in advance!

I think you are applying that correctly.

I mainly use small materials & tools if your purchases cannot be specifically allocated to one sales item/project. Also, a maximum of £500 per purchase invoice.

Investments for larger purchases that last several years (machines, computers, mobile phones, etc.).
