I am self-employed in secondary occupation and therefore exempted from VAT.<\/P><P>What I didn&#8217;t know is that I don&#8217;t actually have to (am not allowed to) enter my vAT number when I order something. Before I knew this, I had already done so. I subsequently asked the company if they could still change this. Unfortunately, they told me that they could no longer do so.
